    Disclaimer

PropertyLiftUp publishes general information about homes and property. This page explains what that information is, what it is not, and where you should go instead when a decision really matters.

    Last updated: 10 September 2026

    General Information Only

Everything on this site is written for a general audience. It describes how things usually work, what things typically cost, and what most people run into.

Your situation is not general. Your house has a particular age, a particular foundation, and a particular set of problems. Your state has its own building codes, disclosure rules, and property laws. Your finances, your contract, and your timeline are yours alone.

Nothing published here takes any of that into account, because we cannot see it. Treat our articles as background reading that helps you understand a subject, not as instructions for your specific case.

    Not Professional Advice

Reading this site does not create a professional relationship of any kind between you and us. In particular, nothing here is:

    • Legal advice. Our buying and selling guides explain how transactions and property rules generally work. Property law differs by state and often by county. Speak to a licensed attorney where you live.
    • Financial or investment advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or finance any property. Mortgage terms, tax treatment, and returns depend on circumstances we cannot assess. Speak to a licensed financial advisor, mortgage broker, or accountant.
    • Real estate advice. We do not value properties, represent buyers or sellers, or recommend agents. Speak to a licensed real estate professional in your market.
    • Engineering or construction advice. Articles on construction and maintenance describe general practice. Structural work, electrical work, gas, and anything load-bearing require a licensed professional and, in most places, a permit. Getting this wrong is dangerous.

    Accuracy and Currency

We research carefully, cite our sources, and correct errors when they are reported. We cannot guarantee that every figure on this site is accurate at the moment you read it.

Property information ages quickly. Renovation costs move with materials and labor. Mortgage rates change weekly. Building codes are revised. Products are discontinued and prices are adjusted. An article that was accurate on the day it was published may not be accurate two years later.

Where a number will influence a real decision, check it against a current primary source: a contractor quote, a lender, a manufacturer, or your local building department.

    Cost Estimates

Cost figures on this site are ranges drawn from published industry data and market reporting. They are there to tell you roughly what to expect and to help you recognize a quote that is wildly out of line.

They are not quotes. Actual cost depends on your region, the season, labor availability, the condition of your property, and the specifics of the job. A kitchen renovation priced in a national average may cost half or double that where you live.

    Reporting About Properties and People

Our celebrity homes and luxury real estate coverage concerns real properties and real people, so it deserves its own note.

This reporting is assembled from public records, court filings, public statements, and coverage by established news outlets. Property ownership is frequently held through trusts and limited liability companies, which means public records are incomplete by design. Sale prices are sometimes undisclosed. Reported figures often conflict.

Where something is not confirmed, we label it as unconfirmed on the page. Where sources disagree, we say so rather than picking the most dramatic number.

We do not publish exact home addresses, and we do not publish information that is not already in the public record. If you are connected to a property we have covered and believe an article contains an error or raises a privacy concern, write to admin@propertyliftup.com with Privacy in the subject line. We review those messages within two business days.

    Product Reviews

Our reviews are based on manufacturer specifications, published pricing, warranty terms, documented testing, and customer reporting. Where we have not physically tested a product ourselves, the article does not claim that we have.

Product features, pricing, and service quality change without notice. Verify the current specification with the manufacturer before buying.

    Affiliate Links and Sponsored Content

Some articles contain affiliate links. If you buy something through one, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. A commission never changes which products we recommend or what we say about them, and pages containing affiliate links say so.

Some articles are sponsored. Those are labeled clearly at the top of the page. We do not sell links inside ordinary editorial articles and we do not accept payment for a positive verdict. Our Editorial Policy sets this out in full.

    External Links

We link to outside sources so that readers can check our work. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. A link is a citation, not an endorsement.

    Your Own Judgment

Any decision you make after reading this site is your decision, made on your own responsibility. We accept no liability for loss or damage arising from reliance on anything published here. Our Terms and Conditions explain the limits of our liability in full.

We would rather say that plainly than bury it. We want this site to be useful, and part of being useful is being clear about where our usefulness ends and a professional’s begins.

If something here is wrong, tell us at admin@propertyliftup.com. Corrections are the most welcome messages we receive.
