    Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information PropertyLiftUp collects when you visit propertyliftup.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

We have written it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, because a privacy policy nobody can read protects nobody.

    Last updated: 10 September 2026

    The Short Version

We do not sell your personal information. We do not require you to create an account. We do not run a newsletter or ask for your details in order to read an article.

What we do collect is limited to three things: anonymous statistics about how the site is used, the information you type into a comment form, and the contents of any email you send us.

    Information You Give Us Directly

    Email

When you write to admin@propertyliftup.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in the message. We use it to reply to you and nothing else. We do not add correspondents to a mailing list.

    Information Collected Automatically

    Server Logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information about each request: the IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser type, and the referring page. These logs exist for security and troubleshooting and are overwritten in the normal course of hosting operations.

    Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which articles people read, how they arrive, and where the site is confusing or slow. This tells us that a certain guide is popular or that a page loads badly on mobile. It does not tell us who you are.

Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data on our behalf. You can opt out entirely by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which Google provides free of charge.

We also use Google Search Console, which reports the search terms that lead to our pages. This data is aggregated by Google and reaches us in summary form only.

    Cookies

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This site uses them for three purposes.

    • Preferences. If you switch the site to dark mode, a cookie remembers that choice so the site does not reset every time you open a page.
    • Comments. If you leave a comment, a cookie saves your name, email, and website so that you do not have to type them again. These last about one year. If you would rather they were not saved, clear your browser cookies after commenting.
    • Analytics. Google Analytics sets its own cookies, as described above.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site will still work, though your dark mode preference will not persist.

    Content Embedded from Other Websites

Some articles include embedded material such as videos, maps, or social media posts. These behave exactly as if you had visited the other website directly. That site can collect data about you, set its own cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content. We have no control over what those third parties do, and their privacy policies govern that data, not ours.

    Advertising and Affiliate Links

Where this site displays advertising, advertising networks may use cookies to select which advertisements to show. Where an article contains an affiliate link, clicking it may pass a referral identifier to the destination site so that a commission can be attributed. Neither of these gives us access to your personal information.

Our Disclaimer explains how we label sponsored and affiliate content.

    How Long We Keep Things

Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely, so that follow-up replies can be recognized and approved automatically rather than held in a moderation queue. Emails you send us are kept for as long as they are useful for correspondence and record keeping. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s own retention settings.

    Who We Share Information With

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Information is handled by the service providers that make the site work: our hosting provider, Google for analytics, Automattic for Gravatar, and our email provider. Each processes data only to deliver its service.

We will disclose information if we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

    Your Rights

Whatever country you are in, you may write to us and ask us to:

    • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
    • Send you a copy of it
    • Correct anything that is wrong
    • Delete it

We respond to these requests within thirty days. The one exception is information we are required to keep for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined by the Act.

To make a request, write to admin@propertyliftup.com with Privacy Request in the subject line.

    Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of thirteen. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, write to us and we will delete it.

    Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to the administration area is restricted and password protected. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

    International Visitors

PropertyLiftUp is operated from Pakistan and read mainly in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries with different data protection laws than your own.

    Changes to This Policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be noted on the site rather than made quietly. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
